Are You On The Team? Bill & Judi Bianco are the regional Awana Missionaries and in this role he regularly introduces the ministry of Awana to new churches in the Maryland, DC, and Northern VA region; supports existing churches with Awana through club visits and evaluations; and coordinates the regional Awana activities including Basic Training, Commander College, Ministry Conference, Bible Quiz, Sparks-a-Rama, and AwanaGames. They cannot do this ministry alone.
Along with Ministry Team Members we need Ministry Partners to be prayer and financial supporters. You can change lives and make a difference for children, youth and families in the National Capital Region. The impact you can have is immeasurable and eternal. Through Awana, you can bless others with the knowledge and power of Christ, so that they may come to have a personal relationship with Him. It is a gift that will last forever.
To meet their budget, they need to raise about an additional $2,000 a month. Please accept the challenge to partner with the Bianco's to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ - any dollar amount is appreciated but they are especially seeking regular supporters. More than anyone in your church, the commander holds the key to a successful Awana ministry. That’s why Awana Clubs International established Commander College. You want your program to shake your church and community as you reach
and disciple kids and their families for Christ.
We want to help you get there by providing practicle tools, tips and new ideas in 2.5 days of transformational training. The first step in the journey is Commander College 101 which is being offered on October 28-30, 2010 at the Comfort Inn & Suites in North East, MD. Early registration is due by Sept. 15th.
